I am tryin to learn japanese, if anyone would like to be my teacher i'll appreciate it.

First I would like to know how to spell the following, translate my english words into japanese ok?

lol, Sadly these few words will go along way with an English speaking Japanese girl. Even though they can speak your language fluently they will be impressed by your short knowledge. I hooked up with a Japanese girl due to knowing that small amount. Gave me the advantage over other people at least.

Konnichiwa - Hello

Hajimemashite - Nice to meet you(Generally used before you can use how are you)

O genki desu ka - How are you

Ohayou Gozaimasu - Good morning

Anata wa totemo kawaii desu - Your very pretty

Watashi wa Scott - My name is scott

However if this is not your only intension then i would advise looking around the internet and in book stores, they are full of useful equipment. I would generally stay away entirely from Kanji though as it is difficult and no needed till advanced stages. Im going to fail my Japanese exams purely for the Kanji being so hard.

Apparently the simple thing of opening doors for each other is not a very common thing in Japan.

Do My Dishes,

You should learn to write Japanese words in Japanese characters, and not write them in abc's. The basic set of Japanese characters is called Hiragana.

Here is a webpage called "Hiragana!" which teaches hiragana online:

tim 33 iwant 2 tell u that when there is a will there is a way ,take this proverb and melt it with my method 2 create an own challenge in your life.
my method is to perfection the way of writing of kanji first, than try 2 memorise its sounds or pronunciation though the great number of them but is the only one which u can 2 do in your free time
don't hesitat try with all of your best and tell me the results
all my whichs 2 u not 2 fail in the exam.

hi all..
i hear japanese only in anime like fma, bleach..
i want to learn so that i can understand their speech without reading subtitles,
but dont know where to start. i cannot read even the letters
anyway can anybody suggest me sth to start with?
bytheway is it possible to not learn the writing style but still can speak japanese? would it be harder or shall i learn the letters stuff too?

Hi Atashi,
Well, I only started learning Japanese a short time ago, so... I would encourage, even though writing is difficult! In fact, I haven't yet started to learn kanji. I have learned only hiragana. There are 2 phonetic alphabets, hiragana and katakana. Kanji are symbols, there are many, thousands!

It's possible to learn to speak/listen but not to read/write, I would think, because when I consider it, there are some English people who find it difficult to read and write their language, so... For starting, I am concentrating more on speaking, but also learning the hiragana. The phonetic alphabets are not hard, and you can make yourself understood in writing if you know them. Personally, I think speaking is most useful if you are going to Japan, but... some day, I hope to learn kanji, too! Of course, if you go to live in Japan, kanji would be necessary.

In speaking, I find grammer and pronunciation not so hard, so, go for it!
