I just thought that I would introduce myself!
My name is Brad and I live in Bloomington, IL in the USA. I am 19 years old and I am in my first year at Heartland Community College.
My interest with Japan started around 7th grade, when a couple of things happened to me all at once. First, I began watching Dragonball Z on Cartoon Network. Second, I watched Barefoot Gen in my Geography class at school. Every since then, I have been fascinated by the Japanese language and culture!
Currently, I have 2 Japanese pen-pals (I talk to one by e-mail, the other I talk to by e-mail and letters). I am also studying in college to become a Japanese translator for businesses. I have seen countless anime and read even more manga. I have many J-pop and J-rock cd's. I have read works from several Japanese authors and I one day hope to see the wonderous 'Land of the Rising Sun' with my own eyes.
