I'm getting some japanese coins!

After being banned from the collectors universe forums, I was mocked on cointalk by a person using the same style of wording I do named "younggold"
The people think this person is me, and now ruined my reputation there also.

Anyway, it turns out I was banned of a combination of things, caroj the admin wont answer my email, but she said in a post:
It's not only the age, buts other issues as wel.

While I was at another coin forum, coincommunity.com, there was a contest to guess what places this guy has gone to recently in his passport. I guessed japan. And I was right! So I'm getting some japanese coins sent to me. Probably modern yen, I can't wait! I will take some pictures when I get them.

Here's what the person giving them away said. He has been to alot of places He's going to israel, he said that was a nightmare
"I have been to japan many time the last was two years ago I like the country and if you make and effort to speak japanese the people suddenly become very friendly.
For the most part however visitors are not that welcome. Unless you are in Tokyo or Yokohama then you are fair game.
I am sitting in in Newark Airport at the moment waiting for my flight to Tel Aviv...."

Congrats on the coins, and, sorry to hear your bad luck on other forums more dedicated to your hobby man, you seem reasonable enough to me, so, who knows what their problems are. :S

The Japanese coins sound interesting! Hey, it sounds really ignorant but I have never even seen modern Japanese coins! :sorry:

My favorite Japanese coin currently in circulation is the 50 cent piece -- I don't have a scanner, but it's the pretty silver one with the chrysanthemum on the back and the hole in the middle.

Although if it's a commemorative coin you're getting, gold coin lover, like of the Tokyo Olympics or Worlds Fair, they might not be worth much. Let us know, and glad you seem to be taken your forum troubles in stride.

You know, some day you're going to get a girlfriend. When you do, I hope she spends all her time telling you what a miserable S.O.B. her last boyfriend was. Then perhaps you'll understand what your whining about your treatment on the other forum sounds like.
