That would be Youkoso in romaji Dude, that 3rd person talk freaks me out

Yeah, it is spelled "youkoso". However, the textbook uses the "Yookoso" spelling. Their romaji is kind of weird when it comes to long vowels. But at least they don't use it throughout the book, and quickly ditch it after you learn the kana.
