I Love/hate Kanji

Hi l just discovered this forum after l googled "kanji sucks" (lol) after trying so hard to bump up my kanj. It's so fun and disheartening and fiendish! But fascinating. I love it and hate it. I love reading about Everything Kanji and everyone's knowledge and experiences. Want to go for the N3 能力試験. Can l pass it...

I was always facinated that anyone could make out kanji in the Japanese newspaper. They always looked like black square dots to me.

Totally relate, though nowadays Im way more into love than hate towards Kanji (still learning though)

Good luck with the test, which I could not understand the Kanjis by the way

I gave up on kanji about 20 years ago which is kind of a bummer because I have to read/write it almost every workday. Thank goodness for modern computing aids.
