How would you say "I love the store" in Japanese? Can you give me the answer in both Romaji and Hiragana please? Thanks!

ai suru no imi ha "to love" to omoimashita.
あいするのいみは "to love" とおもいました。
would it be incorrect to say the following:
sono mise wo ai shiteiru
そのみせをあいしている
and how about.....
sono mise ga ichiban suki desu.
そのみせがいちばんすきです。

"ai" cannot be used for inanimate objects. The last sentence works for "that's my favorite store."

As nice gaijin said, you can't use "ai" to say "I love the store" in the sense that it's your favorite.
In Japanese, the word "ai" is used to suggest "deep" love and not for preferences.

すき (suki) or 気に入る（気に入っている）(kiniiru; kiniitteiru) are used to express preference or liking.
その（この）店が好きです。
Sono (or kono) mise ga suki desu.
その（この）店を気に入っています。
Sono (or kono) mise wo kiniitte imasu.

Please note also that この店を愛しています may be used under certain circumstances such as when you want to express "deep love' (such as commitment) toward the store (to which you may have made significant investment, you want it to stay in operation permanently, etc.).

Yes, this is correct because you used the emphatic form of "suki" (i.e., "daisuki").

However, you didn't specify "which" store. Your sentence is correct only when both speaker and listener know implicitly "which store" is being discussed.

If it is not known, you have to specify the store with "sono, kono, ano, asokono," and others.

Basically, both of you are saying it is not living so don't use "ai suru".

riyu ha "i love that shop"ﾂ no motto tadashii imi ha "i prefer that shop over all otherﾂ shops."
the reason is "i love that shop" has a more corect meaning of "i prefer that shop over all other shops".

shikashi nihongo no massugu honyaku no bun ha chagai no imi desu.
However, the direct translated sentence has a different meaning.

"sono mise wo ai suru" wo ieba Ownership to Involvement wo honokashimasu.
If you say " sono mise wo ai suru" you imply Ownership and Involvement.

ano bun wo shiyou surukoto ga mezurashii desu.
The use of this sentence is uncommon.

lol. thanks for pointing that out.
I assumed u wouldnt need them since what he wanted was "i love THE store"
so, i should add either kono/sono/ano etc to mise?

i thought he meant just a store in general, not a specific?
but anyways
would this be better:

私はこの店が大好きです。
I love this store.

(actually, that does sound better in english, too)

"i love the store" sounds awkward

Yasashii desho?
(Simple right?)

The sentence "この/あの店は好きです(Kono/Ano mise wa sukidesu)" often connotes that "他の店は嫌いだけど(hoka no mise wa kiraida kedo; I don't like the other stores though)".

I love this store: Wa tashi wa kono mise ga daisuki des.
I like this store: Wa tashi wa kono mise ga suki desu.

Please note, suki means like whilst daisuki means love.

Also 'daisuke' is a boys name so remember to type daisuki not daisuke!
Replace the 'e' with a 'i'
