How to remove scratch from a laptop?

Generally speaking, you remove scratches from plastic by sanding them out with wet, very fine sandpaper or buffing compounds. However, that always results in a smooth, glossy surface and it looks like you have a matte finish not a glossy finish on your laptop. That, unfortunately, leaves you the choice of sanding the whole laptop to a glossy finish (with all the risks of making things worse) ... or just living with the scratch.

That's barely noticeable, any attempt to remove it would probably make it worse.
