How to make the chatroom busy~!

hello guys ~ happy new year ！！^_^
I find the chatroom being desolated at most of the time ~ I think that it will have an easy way to make it busy ~

here is some idea about it :

first ,give the hint at every top of thread~ for example :a link to the Chat room and salutatory to invite people in ~ so that, everyone who read the post can approach the Chat room easily.

second, do not need to register for the one who enter the Chatroom and what to communicate in it ~~!

third , I am think about it ...wait...

I hope the chat room can be more busy in the year 2006 ,^_^

Timing Is Everything !

I try to get in chat every evening. The trouble is, when I'm on, it's 2 or 3 in the morning in Europe and earlier in Asia; not many people stay up that late. Sometimes I see who is on line when I am, if their profile looks interesting, I invite them to meet me in chat. Some people I chat with go to other sites, I send them a PM telling them I'm on or when I will be on, and they join me. I also watch the Forum front page a lot, watching for someone to be in chat; I see someone in there , I jump in to say HI.
Often, when people leave chat, they don't log out which is a problem; it shows them still in chat when they are not. PLEASE, when you get ready to leave chat, click on the big "X" up at the top right and close out of chat. THANKS !!
We have had up to 8 people in chat and really have a good time getting to know each other, don't give up 4321go, you can make some real close & long lasting friends in chat!

Happy new year everyone.

Last year, still going on this year... some of us have noticed we couldn't get into chat. Frank says that sometimes when people are on their phone they get logged out. Recently we have been having problems with regular people coming in when they aren't on the phone. Any idea as to why? We know pop up blockers may be a problem but you can turn them off for certain sites or things. What if the people having difficulty coming into chat had no pop up blocker and they weren't on the phone at the time. If any admins can tell us why these strange things are happening, im sure we can get some more friends in the chat room. (^o^) Thankyou!

I have seen that there are always more than 200 people on line in this forum at the same time ,most of them are guests~ . I think if we invite them join the Chatroom (Open the chatroom to the guest!~),the chatroom will busy all the time ~

in addition,many members do not see the Chatroom when they visit the forum~ if there is a link in each thread to welcome people in ,It will make people easy to approach~

I do believe that it would be a good way to make chat more... used, but if the guests wanted to be in chat, wouldn't they register? A lot of the guests just check out the site. If the guests came into chat and if they didn't register doesn't that mean they don't like the forum? What would they say in the chat if they didn't like the forum?

I do pop in randomly around 11:00 AM CST to about 12:15 PM CST and most of the time it's empty, probably since the timezones are off kilter or something... I did like the one time that I talked to some person in Ny...I forget the rest of the city name (how to spell it)

So true, when I am in chat - it is because I am at home very late working at my desk or, because it is a weekend and I don't have to get up early the next day.

We have had up to 8 people in chat and really have a good time getting to know each other, don't give up 4321go, you can make some real close & long lasting friends in chat!

True, the last time I was in the chat room, we were about 6-8 people and that was fun.
