I have a similar problem, how do you get "ti" (as in "paatii"). I've never quite been able to figure that out(along with a few other uncommon character combos), and it's very frustrating.
Is there perhaps a way to change the default conversions to make it easier to input rarely used syllables? Like making "ti" go to テ small イ instead of ヂ? Thanks for any help you can give.
ジャパン is what I get (the standard japanese input in Windows XP) in katakana and it seems to be the english pronunciation of Japan, just written in kana.
Because it requires the OS disk, and we don't have that around here (or at all from what my brother told me). If it were solely up to me, I would hook my Mac up to the internet and use that, because as far as I'm concerned Kotoeri beats both NJ Star and Microsoft's IME.
Just in case you didn't already know, you don't have to specifically use the OS disc that came with your computer or that was used to install your windows. As long as it's the right version, any one will do. So if you know anyone with a disc for the same version of windows as yours, then you could use theirs.
