How may I contact banned members?

Well the thread title speaks for itself, I think!

There are one or two members who have been banned (well alright, twist my arm, there are two!) that I'd like very much to get in touch with on a personal (absolutely non-forum) level. I'd been meaning to do so before they got banned (only in one case could I see it coming but, again, my reasons for wanting to get in touch are irrespective of that - they are just people who appealed to me and that I wanted to share some things with, maybe even get to know a little...)

Is all contact through the forum (by PM or whatever) impossible after a member has been banned?

When a person is banned, their PM system is banned as well. Therefore while we do not delete accounts, threads, or posts, no contact can be made with those who are banned.

As for JREF's willingness to share any other information about those who are banned, I can only take an educated guess, and say that JREF would not take that responsibility. By having posted this here, however, I'm sure that some who do have that information--as we all can fairly guess who is in mind here--will pass it on to you; so please just wait. Thanks for your understanding !!

Thank you so much for your answer, MM san, that is exactly what I was looking for Just the answer that our dear Jref cannot - and won't - let us contact banned members by PM, or even email. That is all quite right and proper by any definition.But I'm also heartened by your saying:

Thank you again for your consideration MM san. I don't think that beyond one person anybody here at Jref could guess who I'm talking about about, really, I just mean to speak in general terms. I'm going back a few years in one case, actually - just someone I've read many posts by who always struck a chime with the way I think myself, that I'd love to talk to.

There might be another way to get in contact with a banned member, but because this is the first time that this question is coming up we have to discuss that with the other staff members.
