How do modern Japanese feel about Koreans?

Sure,those reference materials are mainly in Kanji otherwise I couldn't have accomplished the translation for I've no comprehension of Japanese script hiragana.
 
These are the refference books I used in my master thesis to make clear the politial situation in medieval Japan, in order to explain certain phenomenon in Japanese social life.I wasn't exactly focsed on the Mongolian invasion, but I had to study thouroughly the specifics of that period.I wrote my thesis in Japanese, as required by my university.
YOu asked for refferences and I gave you these, upon which I dare to state that Koreans didn' want to fignt, that Japanese schollars don't think Kamikaze was the main reason for the defeat of the Mongolian army, but just a happy coincidence, added to many other factors, including martial and naval skills of both sides, the quality of the ships, bad navigation from Korean side, etc.
The reason I use Japanese refferences is that the professors in my lab insist on it.A man who used English refferences failed.That is the situation in my university.
But I think that the problem wasn't in the refferences. Risecake just doesn't like Koreans, and wanted refferences, because she was sure I can't give any, and I'm speaking just like that, on behalf of Korea.
Isn't it time to try to overcome the xenophobia?
 

Xenophobia only applies to Koreans and Japanese,if you truly understand East Asian peoples.Didn't you advised another forumer here,Nagoya is known for its intolerance toward NON-Asian looking foreign students ? !

My request for Toshio Kuroda's historic references,irrelevant to your argument whether one likes Koreans or not.Japanese have many extensive academically researched books on East Asia history.It's S Korea has a commercially available collection of FABRICATED ancient Korean history books,you can find them in cyberspace spammed by K-trolls or J-trolls.

I've directly asked Japanese forumers here for some reference materials on specific Japanese cultural aspect,comprehensive written book on Japanese surnames and history is one recent example.

Your baseless accusation wasn't logical and falsely insinuated I knowingly asked for references in believing you couldn't provide.I am a highly opinionated person to those fellow Jref forumers have followed my postings can attest to it.I have no fear expressing my thoughts therefore no need for anyone to announce on mine behalf what nationalities I don't see eye to eye.One post in another thread,I've blatantly briefly described my feelings toward Koreans and why that's the case.

You brought problem with mainland Chinese students at university to this forum in your very first post here,haven't cease bad mouth those mainlanders yet.

China's Jilin province borders N Korea has an Autonomous Region ( Kando ) for Chosunjuks ( ethnic Koreans ).In recent years,there is an increase of marriages between S Korean males and escaped China-born Chosunjuk girls in S Korea.

There is still a social stigma for anyone has Han Chinese ancestry in S Korea today.

S Korea's Chosun Ilbo has far-right leaning.
 
Ancient Barhae wasn't Korean kingdom,it's tribuary system with Tang Dyansty absolutely constituted a " vassal state " status of that time.Majority native population was Malgal-Tungus tribes,predecessor of Jurchens and ancestors of modern day Manchu people.My brother in-law's Manchu paternal family can trace Tungus roots there,his ancestors once belong to the Tungusic Wan-Yan clan.

Ancient Korean kingdoms in the actual peninsula were the SAMHAN ( 3 ) statelets with Jinhan founded by Han Chinese renegades from China's Qin dynastic period and Three Kingdoms named Koguryo,Silla,and Baekje.China probably can claim Jinhan statelet as ancient Chinese colony or kingdom by definition of Han ethnicity.

Nowadays,every Han Chinese family has at least one Mongol or Tungusic ancestor(s).It's as much ancestral land to Han Chinese as some other East Asian nationalities might claim family roots to this particular region in China.

Korea's Koryo Dynasty founder Wang Kon was of Han Chinese extraction,he could traced family roots to Han Chinese settler in LeLang ( NangNang in Korean ) Commandery near Pyongyang in N Korea during China Han Dynasty's military conquest of northern half in Korea peninsula 2400 years ago.It was the largest and most vibrant Chinese imperial colony near coastal seaport with many thousand Han Chinese settlers,China held it for nearly 400 years.

I don't mind if history-loving people, Korean, Chinese, Japanese or whoever discuss histotry in the wiki or here. But the point is that it seems to me the Korean president has many things to discuss with the Chinese leader now.

I don't know if Chinese is xenophobic or not. But one thing I am 100% sure is that there are Chinese restaurants everywhere around the world. If Chinese people, esp. Hakka one, share their secret to be tough migrants with other people, the world would be better.

Not a common cultural trait as it is for both Japanese and Koreans though.

Todays news about Japans support to the South Korean FN's bid to become shows that the relations between the two countries are positive:

Japan will support a bid by South Korean Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Ban Ki-moon to become the next chief of the United Nations, Foreign Minister Taro Aso told a news conference on Tuesday.

"(Ban being assured of a victory in the election to pick the next U.N. secretary-general) is welcomed because we've constantly said that next U.N. chief should be picked from Asia," Aso said. "The prime minister will officially declare that Japan will back him."

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is expected to tell South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun during a summit meeting in Seoul next Monday that Tokyo will support Ban in the U.N. election, Foreign Ministry officials said.

This is true,I've spoken direct with a China-Jilin born Chosunjuk ( I acquainted here in northern California ) confirmed to me Korean parents do teach their children to hate.Xenophobia is also ingrained in Korean culture.
S Korea has unique " Philosophy of Hate " according to my Chinese language translated book titles " Ugly Koreans " written by China-born Chosunjuk ( ethnic Korean ),plus former S Korean president Kim Dae Jung often mentions it in his speeches and books.Korean race see themselves as long oppressed people bullied by China and military aggressions by Chinese and Japanese.

Someone from another forum posted parts of the content of the book a while ago. It talked about how Koreans claim some of Chinese and Japanese cultures were originated from their ancient ancestors. Cultures like 'Hanji' and Confucious, were claimed by modern Korean scholars that those were originated from Korea.
 
This book also has Japanese translated version with same title " Ugly Koreans " in Kanji.

Japanese civilization was invented by ancient Koreans,what a laugh.
 
I think one thing we need to do is forget hating each other already.
We all can forgive but never forget. but that doesn't mean we need to be fight over things that already happened.
I happen to be half Japaneseﾂ and half Korean.

san vs san [referring to mountain]haha.
etc.
 
I don't hate Koreans simplly because I have not been hurt by them. If I heard most of Koreans hate us, I would be disappointed and I might hate them. I know how feel old Koreans about Japanese,esupecially Japanese military. But I don't know how feel young Koreans about young Japanese. If they hate us,the reason why they do is 'education',I think.
