How do I say "gamer" in japanese?

Gamer, like, video game player. Someone who plays video games is called a gamer in english. How would I say this in japanese?

How about 「ゲーマー」? lol.
Isn't it funny how the majority of questions deal with either video games or anime? I don't think gamer literally translate over to Japanese. The closest thing would probably be something like テレビゲームやる人 -- 「テレビゲームやるひと」 or, of course, オタク.

Online Games, is spelled as おんらいんゲーマーズ, so I Imagine it something close to this... here is a site where you can watch news (in Japanese, no subs, sorry), about gaming...
