Ok, so in Japanese class today, I was told by my teacher a Japanese TV crew will come to our school to interview us about studying Japanese in Sweden.

Naturally I asumed it would be some local TV channel and some completely unwatched program that would do do something so uninteresting... booo-hoy was I wrong..

Apparently these guys are from a show that airs in golden hours (19:00-20:00) on wednesdays I think it is. they are among the top 10 most watched proggies in Japanese television and have a 13% viewers rating or some such figure..

I can't remember the name, but maybe one of you guys know.. they apparently have this big thing with a big map and they throw darts at it. where ever the dart lands they have to go there and interview people, no matter how inaccessible, by helicopter or whatever means necessary.

So anyway, I'll be the guy going sumimasen, ichinensei desu, wakarimasen!
But apart from that we have to introduce ourselves too... Mikecash, got any good sentance for me to throw at them there? it feels like the first years will all just go "watashi wa <name here>, desu. ichinensei desu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu."

Wowzers ! TeeVee crew in Sweden !? Where is the world going to huh ;-) hm, if it's a good looking reporter you can say something that makes her melt like hot chocolate 👍 :D

So is there any way those of us who don't live in Japan can see. I know i've seen a few sites to watch Japan tv online butnothing really great. I'd be interested to know. Well congrats for making it to tv even id it's not in your home country.

Hi Mac!

Haven't seen you post in a long time! :-)

Yes, I know the program! It's a good-natured variety show hosted by Tokoro Joji called "ツ湘寂?堙≫?堙?坦ニ停?ー窶堋ヲ窶堙 Waratte Koraete" on Nippon TV (Channel 4). It's vastly popular with viewers of all ages.

It has a part of the show featuring students around the world studying Japanese, especially those who don't have any experience visiting Japan. And they do pick up students who are fluent!! In one special feature, they invited high school kids from Turkey to come and experience Japanese high school life. It was great experience for the Turkish kids and for the Japanese students who had never known anybody from Turkey and speaking Japanese quite well. I'm really impressed by these foreigners who speak Japanese so well! Love the show! Wow, I get to see you, Mac!! 👍

Our class will get a copy of the tape, so naturally I'll be uploading it wether I'm on or not =P

and yeah Epigene! that's the show!

God I hope they don't stick that mic in my face...

Ohhhh Nooooo !!!!!

Imagine Japan's shock if they bought TwistedMac to visit!! It could bring about war between Japan & Sweden , LOL !

Uncle Frank

😊

PS - Grab that mike and do JREF proud Mac !

Cool bananas ! 👍 Do you know what date you will be on TV ? I'll try to watch if I am not working. :)

You could do a lot worse...

I wanna say something like "I'm not gonna say anything witty or funny, because I don't know how to. I'm only a first year"... anyone help me out with that?
