Hiroshima => Kagoshima?

Anyone here have any tips on the best way to travel from Hiroshima to Kagoshima?

Planes are really expensive on the few sites I've found that sold tickets, so that's not gonna work. Is there a series of trains I could take or the likes?

1.When you use an airplane.
On board for 163 minutes (Traveling for 223 minutes)
One-way fare:19,940 yen .

2.When you use JR
On board for 215 minutes (Traveling for 245 minutes)
One-way fare:16,800 yen Distance:572.8 km
You go from Hiroshima to Hakata by Shinkansen,
You go from Hakata to Shin-Yatsushiro by a limited express
You go from Shin-Yatsushiro to Kagoshima by Shinkansen.
Because it is not completed from Hakata to Kagoshima, the Kyushu Shinkansen uses the relay train.

3.When you use the express bus
Because there are not direct flights from Hiroshima to Kagoshima, you transfer in Fukuoka.

The train ride to Hakata from Hiroshima is a pleasant one. I did it two years ago and took a commuter train down to Kumamoto from Hakata.
