I am still bad at sentence structure so help me out here.
Any one red mark my work here?
Gist is this ｉｓ a response to a letter from a friend I haven't spoken to in about 2 weeks. She asked me what i did for V-day and what i thought about Devon Aoki and fast and the furious. Because she noticed that I like drifting.

Hey my favorite 日本の女の子。
おひさしぶりですね。 元気ですか。
私は元気です。おかげさまで。ときどきDevonAokiはきれいを思えています。
FastandFurious2にかのじょはきれなかったです。それ映画が好きじゃないよ。
がんばっていましたか？ あと私はあなたに私の車の写真をくります。
はい私はドリフトができれるでもドリフトが下手です。：（

ヴぇリンタインズ（Valentine's?）の日に私は私の彼女にごはんを作りました し 映画を見ました。

Did she ask if you were 'genki' in the last letter ? 'Okagasamade' wa tenkeitekina (typical) nihongo no hyogen de eigo ni onajimono wa arimsen.
"Ogenki desuka" ni (taishite) "okagasamade" to kotaeru no wa teineina aisatsu no hitotsu desune. Ikinari "Okagasama de (anata wa)" to iu koto wa nai to omoimasu.

FastandFurious2にかのじょはきれなかった(と思います）。それ(その）映画が好きじゃないよ。
がんばっていましたか？ （What is the context of ganbatte?)
あと、(name（さん）と一緒 の私の車の写真をくります。
(Do you really mean "kurimasu"? Okurimasu?) Picture taken of you two together with the car ?

ヴぇリンタインズ（Valentine's? Day -- all in katakana)に（は）彼女にごはんを作ったし、 映画を見ました。(I'm not sure "shi" is very good here).

I am not sure what I am reading in your first paragraph vocabulary i am not completely familiar with.

Ganbatteimashitaka:
she mentioned in her letter before this one that she was very busy and would email me again when she was done with her project. so i was asking did she work hard?

anata vs. name-san:
we have spoken to each other for a while now and she (mami-san) doesn't mind me using anato i asked her about it and she is ok with it.

kuruma:
The car sentence, she asked me to do i have pictures of my car and she would like to see them. I was trying to say i will send you pics later. a friend had me confused between using kurimasu and okurimasu so i am still not to confident on which is correct.

V-Day:
I wasn't sure what particle to use to link to phrases to gether were dealing with the same topic "What i did for valentine's day" i read at a site that you can use "shi" in the case of linking to phrases together they are related to the same topic.

last sentence:
She had a question for me about english but she couldn't remember.
I wasn't sure how to conjugate tasukeru (to help) to show want...~tai so i substituted hoshii(wish) with the root form. "I want to help with your english"

Told ya it was jacked up. but thats the only way I'll get better is by figuring out whats wrong and why. Thanks Elizabeth :sorry:

anata vs. name-san:

If you've been speaking for a while, you should be using her name, not anata. I would ask in the direction if that is OK. Will get to the others later, not bad for a beginner.

Think of this... my wife calls me by my first name. In fact, the only time I think I've ever been called "anata" is when someone was referring to me, but didn't know my name, and something like "okyaku-san" wouldn't apply.

I think it should be stricken from the first lesson, or they should really explain that it's not used in the same way in nihongo.

Anata can be used in jest as a "Hey You!" with someone you're playing or joking around with, times when you're arguing or honestly don't know the person's name. Other than that it is a collective 'you' (for addressing the public at large) and almost unheard of among friends or colleagues.

How about 'Projecto wa dou desuka ? Ganbatte kudasai.'
Ganbatte imashitaka? has the feel that she might have done her best and you're checking up on her.

Kurimasu is completely different than what you're looking for.
Kuruma no shashin wo okurimasu. is fine.

Shi is closer to and as 'because' .... in your example there are several alternatives, if you did them in sequence '"tsukutte, eiga...." is good,
"Gohan wo tsukuttari, eigo wo mitari shite imashita" is also very natural.

Some others are trickier or more advanced, if you want to know please ask.

Eigo no benkyou no tetsudai wo shitain desu" is better. Tasuketai means more like I want to rescue or save someone.

Oh, I'm sorry. It was right before lunch and I wasn't thinking in romaji. :sorry: Tasukeru is another word for help, but I think tetsudau is best in this case.

そうですね。 If it helps you can think of all these as being a subclass of "Type 1 Verbs"

会う、合う、（あう） -- Meet
洗う、（あらう） -- Wash
使う （つかう） -- Use
歌う （うたう） -- Sing
手伝う （てつだう） -- of course Help
笑う （わらう） -- Laugh
言う （いう） -- Say
習う （ならう） -- Learn

ところで、"手伝う"は仕事とか日常の手助けの時に使います。 ('Tetsudau' is when you help someone with work, school or everyday things around the house and the object becomes the thing you help with 勉強を手伝いたい.

命に危険がある時や事故がある時は"助けて"を使います。('Tasukeru' is used a lot when someone's life is in danger or after an accident and the object becomes animate, ie the person you are helping save or rescue.)

Well, it's basically how I've seen it used anyone -- your pen pal may have other suggestions....
