GaijinPot switched to FB after they had foolishly upgraded to vB5 (where they do not exactly appear to be thriving), JT closed their forum, japanforum.com was abandoned two years ago, there are few general Japan-related fora left. The JREF forum has always been one of the smaller communities, but we're definitely here to stay.
