Pleased to meet you all, I'm Jim from New Zealand. I originally landed here a year ago looking for info on Japanese research scholarships. A year later and I'm finally off to Tokyo to research an MA on film - thought I better sign up and say thanks to all the people who posted useful and inspiring experiences on the studying in Japan part of the forum.
