Hi
Im new to this forum.Im from Malaysia.I hope to have an enlightened time here with everyones help.
Since learning that Japans door was knocked open by the coming of Commodore Perry and the Black ships I have always been fascinated by the resilience and incredible adaptations of the japanese to other peoples cultures and adapting it so well to their advantage especially that of the Chinese culture and the Western ( modern ) culture.
I would like to know how different are the younger generation of Japanese compared to the older ones today. Do they still hold on to their tradisional beliefs or are they totaly westernized?
I hope someone here can enlighten me.
Thank you
