Here is the story

From what you've written and explained I cannot see ANYTHING that you did wrong. If you ask me it was she who did you wrong. Why are you blaming yourself here? Did I miss something?

Anyway, good luck in patching things up.

He changed! That is what he did. He stated that they had sex often and he used to hold her and fall asleep with her after. Then he began getting sex and going to play his game or play with his camera. Sex became less personal for her. She felt used. Just like he should feel. Perfect couple if you ask me.

So by that logic its wrong to do what you want with your own time even when she is unconcious.

Hooray for CC1's take on modern relationships: Your life belongs to her now, sucka!.

No, but by reading his post and his point of view (since she doesn't post here) it is easy to tell that he changed. It is fine to do what you want to do, but my understanding of his post is that he began focusing less on her (which happens in all relationships I think) and began focusing on less important things. (at least to her and things that she wasn't interested in)

Let's look at the big picture here. They both realised that the only things they have in common are sex, eating, and breathing. (perhaps in that order)

The curiousness has worn off. The novalty is gone. Now is where you find out how good you really are together. Time will tell, but I just don't see this one going the distance.

Sorry for such a realistic view of things.

That's correct. When you're awake and she's asleep, you better be spendin' your time makin' a love poem to tell her. Cause she owns you, now, and you're nothing more thand a mindless drone! THAT MEANS EVERYONE! (This oddly reminds me of Sgt. Johnson.)

Note: The above was not serious at all, i just woke up and i felt obligated to make an exaduration in a void attempt to be funny.

The Continuing story of..."Roppongi Place."

Maybe I got this all wrong, this all started with two horny people who went to love hotels quite a bit with she being 4 years older than he.

They go to Hawaii together on a vacation, but it doesn't sound like they had that great a time there. Then, he started acting cold and aloof (in her eyes) and she started to flirt with and be wooed by other men on the internet. When he found out about this, he realized that his "recreation outlet" could be taken away from him. Then he also began to realize that he really did care more for her than originally thought.

She, on the other hand, felt used and neglected, which is why she started considering other men. But, finally seeing his reaction, also came to the realization (maybe) that she cared more for him than she thought.

To be continued...

Ok guys, that's cruel
The wording is cruel but what Armand does is to put things in another perspective. I would prefer people to do that when I need help instead of shouting what I should do.. But I've said that already haven't I?

By the way I prefer peanuts, or Japanese dried fishy things. (The ones we feed to cats.)

Actually, my intent was a bit tongue-in-cheek but bluntly put. I think Carlson himself would admit that the attraction originally was sexual. Then it developed from there.

If it's valid, no matter how blunt, it's valid and therefor is not cruel.

Sometimes they don't always have to feel neglected... When i was with mako, i tend to be quite the opposite of neglective, and they cheat on me. lol

I think he said that somewhere in this thread. It's a shame that we've simply returned to the status quo; at the very least, I hope both Carlson and and his girlfriend have learned something from all this.

Agreed... My question (which is none of my buisness) is that at this point, are they in true love or do they think of each other as they did before, only fresh and anew?

I second this.

As I said, all we can do now is wait and see if they've learned from this and are making a serious attempt at a relationship or if its just a dead-end.

That's what I mean. All good.
I do too hope they both have learned from this experience. Personally I don't believe in second chances but hey, everyone is different. I sincerely hope for the best.

I did it my way...

I only ever gave one second chance... I seriously regret it....

Regrets, I've had a few. But too few to mention.

I have many regrets, but that's what i get for getting involved with girls starting somwhere between 12 and 14... At least i still have my virginity...

Stop beating yourself up and stop blaming yourself! :banghead:

I am starting to think of you as "emotionally battered".:smash:

This chick is a shark! Get out of the water! :wavey:

Or maybe as Fred Sanford would call her, "a barracuda" (great song by Heart cranks up in the background! 🧑‍🎤 )!

Nope. I think she is a shark!

ROFL Well, sanford, you'll have the big one when you find out my one friend is younger than me and is engaged...

Well...?

What's the latest in the continuing saga of Ma and Pa Carlson?
