Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and have a couple of questions.

First, if I want to visit Japan, can I do it under the non-visa waiver program? I am American. I have been there many times to work, but never on vacation.

Second, if my girlfriend is a non Japanese Permanent Resident and we decide to marry, will I be able to apply for a Spouse Visa and remain in Japan?

Hiya. I'd really recommend you post in the Japan Practical section of the forum to have all your visa questions answered.

My suggestion to your enquiry is that you post this in a different section such as JAPAN PRACTICAL. That section is much busier and more people with information will see your post.
