Hey guys.

I'm new here, sorry if this is not the right place to ask this, but I'm a little confused and can't find a good tool to find the answer to this question.

This phrase: エホバは太陽を静止させた

What is the conjugation of the verb?

In english it was translated: Jehovah caused the sun to stand still

But I'm trying to understand the grammar rule with no success.

I'm using these tools:

But I can't find the conjugation in question.

EDIT: Any resources recommendation or tips are welcome

I noticed that I copied a part of the verb, not the entire construction.
It should be 静止させた, right?
Cause it to stand still
Is that right?
EDIT: I found some examples of the word in other sources

That's right. 静止させた is the past causative form of 静止する.

The following pages would be also helpful for your understanding of -suru verbs and the causative form..

thank you for the help!
