This is part of a post from missing people section. It better fits here in translations.

I was given this name Takinasawa as a person involved with an adoption.
This name does not appear to be a surname.

So can it be two names written together? Could it be a nick name, or maybe a first name?
Maybe its a miss spelling by one letter?
Thanks Alan

Just looking at the ENAMDICT, it looks like it would have to be a full name, Takina Sawa 多希奈 さわ

Unfortunately, the unique part - 'Takina' - would be a given name. Of course, it's only unique in ENAMDICT. Names aren't limited to what's in the dictionary, certainly not to a dictionary by and for English learners of Japanese.

If the family name is in fact 'Sawa' it has a multitude of kanji spellings.

Awesome thanks.

I believe this is a older man, may no longer be living. But I was hoping to see if the name pops up anywhere.

Thanks again.

I have no idea. My son emailed me with the name this morning. He said he tried to look it up and said he did not believe it was a name.
So I went on the assumption then it was a spelling mistake or two names run together.
So I posted it here to see what the opinions are.
