Help translate single Japanese Kanji character calligraphy

Hi, wondering if someone can i.d. what this character is and what it represents. Thank you for any help. -- Pete

All I have is the one large character with a seal, framed.

lol, the small amount of kanji I know, Tokyo, Kyoto , Yama, watashi, and ji, i can recognize fairly well. Better than most hiragana symbols. This is me with something like, fu, in hiragana.

Looks like a type of character that an expert will have to figure out , kind of like an Andy Warhol interpretation of a Kanji.

To me it seems like an abstract image of a middle finger, implying that the artist is laughing at the person who purchased their "art."
(Needless to say I'm the wrong person to ask about Japanese calligraphy.)

It says either, 'Not suitable for a tattoo', or 'A baka and his money are soon parted'

My Iai teacher is an extremely adept calligrapher and when I've asked him to decode various pieces of 'artistically rendered' calligraphy I have, he says, laconically, "No idea." (he's grumpy). It seems, for the artist, it's the 'energy' or intent with which they're brushed that is important rather than their legibility, but I understand that doesn't help you

Konnichiwa Pete J.-san!

I think it's a "省 : Kaerimiru".

It means "Objectively review my past behavior and examine the good and bad points."

Specifically, it refers to looking back and reflecting on past actions.

I don't know "省" is correct or not. To me it looked like "省".
