I'm currently studying できます, けど and が, and I had to translate those phrases to Japanese.

After checking the table's number, the teacher said we could get in.
机の数を調べてから、先生は入れられると言いました。

My parents are japanese, but they don't know how to speak Japanese really well because they came here when they were children.
両親は日本人だけど、子供だったときここに行ったから、あまり日本語を話しません。

I've been in Tokyo and Kyoto, but I like more of Kyoto.
東京て京都にいたことがあるが、京都より好きです。

Can you tell me if they are right? Thank you!!

入れられる[いれられる] is the potential form of a transitive verb 入れる[いれる], not an intransitive verb 入る[はいる].

In addition, 話しません has a nuance that your parents don't speak Japanese by their will. The negative potential form is more appropriate for the case.

It's more simple. "And" is used in the original English sentence.
You are confusing ～より好き and ～がより好き, maybe? These two structures are opposite in meaning.
