Hello everyone.
Well to jump into the heart of this, I am a Commissioned Artist and I was recently asked to do a special portrait reflecting a Maiko. I have put hundreds of hours into this piece and now the owner wants a special name painted into it.
They want, as far as I understand "Maiko copper OrchidBloom" or 舞子銅 蘭咲. Is this in the correct order and is it even correct. I don't want to be made a fool by writing a nonsense sentence, or something that is redundant.

OrchidBloom is 蘭の花 or just 蘭. but is it OK just to list the words "Maiko + copper + OrchidBloom"?

Problem is your English title is not a sentence. Just 3 seemingly unrelated words so there is no grammar to speak of. Are you sure you have the meaning nailed down?

Hey thanks for the reply. To be honest, they only gave me the name of the person and what they thought was the correct tittle. So I "think" I am trying to write the "name" on the painting. I don't want to be painting nonsense, and I am glad someone is out there to help me.

Would there be a more appropriate way to write the title/name on the painting? This person in the painting has been long dead and the only thing they knew was her more-or-less name.
