Greetings all,
I am new here and so here is my obligatory 'n00b' introduction.
My name is Lee, I'm 21 years of age, male, and I hail from Liverpool, England; birthplace of The Beatles, and all that jazz.
My main interest in Japan lies in its culture and history. I am currently quite obsessed with the city of Kyoto and its histories, especially the histories of the 'Flower and Willow world' and the geisha/geiko.
I am currently planning a trip to Tokyo for autumn next year, as a congratulatory present to myself to completeing college! I'm going to spend a week in Tokyo, and take a day out to visit Kyoto. I'm also going to save an extra bit so I can stay in the Park Hyatt Tokyo, but thats down to my big love of the Sofia Coppola movie 'Lost in Translation'.
So I hope to get to know some of you guys! See you around the boards.
