Hello friends!

I am an 19 year old girl from Austria (Europe) and I am interested in japanese Language and Culture.
I have been to japan as a transfer student for 6 weeks when I was 17 years old. I liked it very much.

十九歳でオーストリア人です。私は日本の文化に興味がある。 2年前に日本に行って、転校生として学校に行った。ほんとうに楽しかった。あの学校で日本語を勉強してきたのに、日本語を話す事が得意ではない。

I am very sorry if there are mistakes in my sentences...
But I came to this forum to learn and practice! I hope that you can help me a little bit.
And I also want to make good friends with similar interests.

興味があります would be polite and better.

Maybe that's not 転校生. I guess it's 交換留学生 (exchange student).

日本の学校で日本語を勉強したのに、日本語を話すことは得意ではありません would be better.

I think your Japanese is pretty good. Keep up the good work.
