I ate in Chinatown the other night, and the TV in the restaurant was playing the video from one of their concerts. They looked pretty good. Good-looking, too.

However, I was relieved that they didn't sing any songs in English in fear that they might end up sounding like William Hung.

No way! William Hung is much more popular than those girls.

I have one of the CDs of 女子十二樂坊 and I think they're pretty refreshing - using Chinese instrutments to play J-pop. I saw their performance on the 2004 Red and White singing contest too. But from what I remember, only one of the girls is pretty.

William Hung is making a movie in Hong Kong right now, and he is as popular as an
A-list star over there. H.K. people like him not because they think he sings well. They think he looks like an idiot, but he actually won 4th place in a national maths competition in the United States. However, he quitted University of California (Berkeley) in order to concentrate on his career. And I heard he has a Christmas CD coming out soon.
