Haruhi Is Coming!

One of the most highly anticipated anime series in the last few years, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will arrive in the States sometime in early 2007, around March or April. From what I've read online about the show, fans in Japan are absolutely bonkers over it, sufficiently intrigued, I'm eager to see for myself what all the fuss is about. There's even a fan created website about the show with a comical video that's worth checking out:

If Haruhi lives up to all the hype, it should become quite the smash hit here in America.

Well, I hate to admit it, but I'm one of those bonkers fans. It's a fun show (not necessarily funny as in "Ha, ha, ha" but just fun). I just hope they do a great job on the voice acting for the release.

Hey, I like fun shows! Nothing at all wrong with that! One of my all-time faves is Azumanga Daioh, and that was fun to the tenth power! Gives me another reason to look forward to Haruhi!

That reminds me, I need to go and buy the Azumanga Daioh DVDs. That was a great show.
