I've never really figured out if these introductions serve much purpose, but here we go anyway!
First off, I reckon a picture is worth a thousand words... so to start, here's 2000 words!

Anyway, I'm a 22 year old guy from beautiful Wellington, New Zealand.
I love New Zealand to bits, but it does tend to get a little boring from time to time. *sigh*
I've held a deep interest with Japan for some years now. It's a fascinating place with so many different facets on display all at the same time. The fact that it holds on to its history and traditions even today is impressive.
Meh, there's a lot to know about me, but I'm sure you guys only really want to know the basics.
In July of this year, I'll be moving to Japan to do a Working Holiday. I can't WAIT to get over there and finally soak up the culture and people.
I'm learning as much Japanese as I can before I get there, however as is with most languages, you learn a hell of a lot faster when you are in the middle of it 24/7.
It's gonna be awesome!
I have a web-page that will serve as documentation of my entire Japan planning and move process and will continue through my stay. I'm not sure there's much posting it up at the moment because it only really contains the planning stage at the moment (obviously).
Anyway, it'll be a pleasure to meet you all, I hope to make some friends before I leave for Japan so I perhaps have some people to meet up with
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
