Hi, Wanat:

It's so nice to have you here.

It's obvious that many Europeans and Americans don't seem to understand the agony of us Chinese and Koreans with Japan's WW2 atrocities. So when you start a respective thread, hoping to communicate with Japanese friends, some Europeans and Americans would surround you with bitter remarks, with our Japanese friends standing aloof watching you trapped and giggling.

Be liberal minded and you will enjoy this nice forum.

Hello wanat !
If I may say something, in general people from Allied countries know somewhat about WWII aggressions, but other than those directly affected by the war, they seem to wanting to forget the past and move on.
Of course there are exceptional individuals who are highly sensitive about Japan's past and its current dealings with its imperial past.

In countries directly invaded by Imperial Japan, one needs not to be an immediate victim to become aware of the atrocities whereas in other countries, only those individual directly affected by WWII or other wars caused by Imperial Japan retain the strict standard for Japan today.
