not really Japanese, but look out for Fields of the Nephilim, Sisters of Mercy (older stuff) and Rosetta Stone, these are some of my favourite bands especially The Nephilim.

I think it is sad that these bands are not very popular or known. There are so many great bands and you can't find CDs anywhere

:?I don't think there really exist Japanese magazines that are geared toward goth bands.
But I recommend the Gothic metal band D and they have their own magazine
called Mad Tea Party Magazine.
