Good Japanese dramas?

Does any one know of some good japanese dramas? I just finished watching Mr. Brain and really liked it.

Although I agree that you have a lot of horrible dramas, there are some that I like.

If you like historical drama's you should check into the NHK's Taiga Drama's

If you like Kimura Takuya you could have a look at "pride", "Hero", and "the family" (Karei naru ichizoku).

Odoru Daisosasen, and unfair are alright police drama's.

I am not a fan of jiidai dramas myself but I did find NHK's Yoshitsune particularly enjoyable. Not to mention it has one of the best soundtracks of all time imo (and that includes both film and TV).
