Some interesting points. We cut off Russia's access to their foreign reserves. China has the largest foreign reserves in the world. China is not self sufficient and depends on some shipments, we can cut off supply lines. Of course we are more deeply connected with China for so much manufacturing but that has to give them pause.

I just saw on PBS that America does 120 billion dollars of trade with Russia and China. That is something I was unaware of.

It doesn't really make sense to combine the totals of those two. China is #3 trading partner and Russia isn't even in top 15.
