Hi!

Tonka2 is a weird name, but it's mine. I'm an ALT somewhere in Inaka, Japan, where I've lived for five years. The Jref forums seem to be the most decent Japan-focused boards left online, so here I am. I hope we'll get along.

I like it just fine. I live near the mountains though, so this morning I woke up to a fresh coat of snow on my car.

ALT life is ... interesting. I've done it for almost five years. Honestly, my job satisfaction changes every April as new teachers come and go. The last two years have been pretty disappointing because I've been stuck with a JTE who can't speak English.
