Here's an update on vB tags available on our board. The basic tags are covered in the FAQs (click the button above) or click the vB Code help link when replying to a message. I have added some new fancy tags today.

If you would like to link to news groups

Code (without spaces):

[ news ]fj.life.in-japan[ /news ]

Output:

[news]fj.life.in-japan[/news]

Aligning messages

Code (without spaces):

[ align=center ]This will center your text.[ /align ]

[ align=right ]This will align your message on the right.[ /align ]

Output:
This will center your text.
This will align your message on the right.
Ping Pong Text

Code (without spaces; works with IE and Netscape 6+, not with Mozilla or Opera):

[ pong ]This text bounces left and right.[ /pong ]

Output:
[pong]This text bounces left and right.[/pong]
