*giggle* He's just so tiny it's cute. I like to look at images when the band is out and around and not on stage and things and Kyo is standing with the others and he's really short looking. Tee hee. But ya...

i agree with you mizerable d.

when i first heard kyo it tought *wauw* he sings really cool/good(altough he screams a lot). After i saw him without make up, i tought he was very cute and wanted to know more about him.

i think he is a very talented artist with his own fasanating( sorry for my bad english) style

Kyo's really kool. He has a unique and very refreshing appearance to him, he doesn't look like alot of vocalists in American bands.

well most western bands are pretty boring...i've lost hope for them
plus im asian myself so i feel more close to the asian bands...

I had this song by Dir en Grey and I would have bet my savings that it was Gackt. Even my friend (who is a HUGE Dir en Grey fan) thought it was Gackt. And that's the only reason I think Kyo sounds like Gackt. Whenever Kyo starts screaming all the place, then I'm like, "Oh, it's just Kyo."

Of course, I tend to think everyone sounds like Gackt.

I was somewhat frightened when I saw Kyo for the first time. But after I saw a whole lot of hilarious pics and heard his sexy talking voice, I really like the guy XD plus he's so cute! XD

Perhaps you're just listening to the crap ones. There are hundreds and hundreds of "j-rock" bands that are TOTAL ****. Don't have such an ignorant and biased view.

Well, I have listened to enough of this western music to say that it's crap. I only live where western music comes from for hell's sake so I hear it all the time. So I think I should be pretty well knowledgeable about it. All I hear these days is rap, crappy pop, rock that sounds all the same and whatnot. What is over in Japan is much more original and they can actually sing and they also have diversity and actually sound different from each other. Their lyrics, well, let's not get into that right now.

The first time I saw Kyo, I thought he was actaully quite pretty (The first PV I saw and the first song for that matter that I heard of theirs was Yokan after all). After that, I think I might have been freaked out just slightly, but not much the next time I saw him. I find him to be quite creative, unique, and original (and sexy and CUTE!!). I respect him a lot for being able to write and perform such songs. It must take at least a little bit of bravery for a lot of people would be to disgusted of them to listen and I'll shut up now...Hehe...

I'd have to agree with Nightwalker on this one here. I also hail from North America and, well...The music produced here, is, simply put, just that: PRODUCED. It's all the same practically. I'm not saying they are ALL bad, just mostly so. And I do not believe that either Nightwalker or myself have "such ignorant and biased views", since we have quite a bit of experience with western music. It's mostly (but not TOTALLY) all the same and, quite frankly, the music in general is not good at all to begin with, and it only gets worse and worse when all these songs are practically identical. And also, to top at ALL off, the lyrics leave much to be desired... And lastly, for your information, you're only biased if your in the music industry.

Most music that you listen to is the kind that is shoved in your face. There is a plethora of music that you have to look for in places other than tv and radio.

You're probably just one of the lazy ones who chooses not to look.

I do so believe that Nightwalker has also listened to music that isn't shoved in our faces, thank you very much. I highly doubt she's one of the "lazy ones" as well. And it's really her personnal opinion, so...It doesn't really matter what you say. We both still have enough to be able to say what we say.

Eh. Keep in mind that most of the music you probably listen to from Japan is indies. And the stuff you hear over here, being shoved in your faces, is major label. The indies music can sound quite different

Wow! i leave for a while and come back to see this! *falls over* Um I must say that when it comes to American bands much of the music HAS gone down hill, but I dont really listen to what is currently out now so I have no real opinion...I must say now though that it seems that all you'll ever hear about are the "artists" with the money, I mean it seems that in the U.S if you have alot of money and you want to be a singer all you have to do is give a record company some money and you can be a musical artist. It no longer seems to be about talent but about howmuch money you have.

Still Im sure there are artists who are considerably good in America it just depends on a persons opinion of what is good. 8shrug* But I thought this was about Kyo. I was never really freaked out by him. maybe it's just because Ima scary person but I never really saw that side of him....

if someone has no interest in wasting their time looking for no-name bands who makes good music, they dont have to. it just might take a while until u find one, and who has the time for that when you can listen to good music shoved in ur face?

The reality is every genre of music has its share of good and autrocious. Saying one side of music is better than another is like stereotyping an ethnicity. Sometimes you just have to get off your soapbox to actually see that, and understand it.

Or maybe we just don't like that "other" side of music and don't care to listen to the same crap of new boring artists that pop out of no where and have no talent what-so-ever. Meanwhile others out there busting their nuts to get where some people today shouldn't be. There is no good music today over here on the western side because all of the damn music has been done by others and all the songs are about sex, money, getting inside the girls pants, and all that crap. Most of these artists don't even write their own damn lyrics. They are just a product of the record company. Some bands, singers whatever over here are okay but I would rather listen to different people from somewhere else sing about something new other than what I hear over here. Music today in the western side is not music at all. It's all fake, old, and the same old crap sung by some "untalented" singer...

...Oh and you should learn to take that damn broom out of your a$$ and have some respect for others opinions and not be ignorant about it. Oh and another thing...don't assume were being something were not. Use your damn brain. Get your facts straight. Look around and see how today's music is over here. It's all a product of the damn record company. You can say your opinion all you want but I still think that today's music over here is sh**.
