MexicanBatman said:Kyo's really kool. He has a unique and very refreshing appearance to him, he doesn't look like alot of vocalists in American bands.

Perhaps you're just listening to the crap ones. There are hundreds and hundreds of "j-rock" bands that are TOTAL ****. Don't have such an ignorant and biased view.Nightwalker said:I do agree with that. I really dislike western bands so much. They all sound the same and it's all crap. Nightwalker said:Well, I have listened to enough of this western music to say that it's crap. I only live where western music comes from for hell's sake so I hear it all the time. So I think I should be pretty well knowledgeable about it. All I hear these days is rap, crappy pop, rock that sounds all the same and whatnot. What is over in Japan is much more original and they can actually sing and they also have diversity and actually sound different from each other. Their lyrics, well, let's not get into that right now.

You're probably just one of the lazy ones who chooses not to look.
Lydia is right though, as many 'crap' western bands there are, there are just as many J-bands. More often than not, its the trend novelty of a band being non-American that rubs many trend-hoppers the right way.
M.Batman: You can shove my 'good first impression' up your *blank*hole if it makes you feel better.

if someone has no interest in wasting their time looking for no-name bands who makes good music, they dont have to. it just might take a while until u find one, and who has the time for that when you can listen to good music shoved in ur face?Winter said:Most music that you listen to is the kind that is shoved in your face. Winter said:The reality is every genre of music has its share of good and autrocious. Saying one side of music is better than another is like stereotyping an ethnicity. Sometimes you just have to get off your soapbox to actually see that, and understand it.
