ok I've loved Enka for a long time and have just recently started using some songs as a way to improve my Japanese. So I was trying to translate this specific song and usually you can confirm your translation with other people's online, but this song doesn't seem to have one that i can find. so I thought I'd ask u beautiful people on here whether this translation works. I have used my brain (i have been studying Japanese for the last year) and just a good old fashioned dictionary (did not use google translate as that is rubbish in these situations). I think i may have mistranslated some things as some of the conjugations i haven't seen very often before, and some of the particle uses also confused me a little. The Lyrics are taken from the youtube video but i think that the person misspelled some words and missed out some Kanji so the meaning to some things are not clear. Below is the link to the video, the Japanese typed up from the video, and my first attempt at translating a song. i was confused as to what 硝子坂 was but i think the person transcribing the lyrics might meant to use katakana for GARASU (not sure).

Original video:

forgive this following bad translation, some concepts were quite abstract and the subject is inferred (oh how we love this about Japanese sometimes NOT!! lol) and this is the first time I have done it. Also I'm guessing a direct translation makes no sense so I have had to interpret I guess. よろしくお願いします!
Woeful (sad) dreaming.
Some stranger asked me a question
without speaking I nod
it is still you that i absolutely love.
Cruel person (i'm thinking this is in reference to the person she is singing to)
anytime from the top of the hill
you call me over to embrace me again.
In front of me (i see) the glass hill
shine (glitter?), shine (glitter?) brightly, glass hill.
Finally (I came?) into your dreams
i ask myself if I should be glad (about such dreams)
For some reason I become obedient and accustomed
it is your nature, one i cannot describe.
Cruel person
standing towards the hill
a wave of the hand, goodbye
scattered glitter from glass hill
the shine has disappeared
glass hill

You did well. :)

The only typo in the lyrics is それはあなたのせいだと言えないわ.

The whole lyrics is about a story in the speaker's dream.

悲しいのでしょう is the quotation of the stranger's word.

それは = うなずいたのは = the reason I nodded is... = because

手招きだけをくりかえす
You just beckon me repeatedly.

とうとう来たね is あなた's word.

うれしいはずの問いかけに = うれしいはずのあなたの問いかけに

いじわるなあなたがたたずむ modifies 坂.

ああ! 分かりました。

makes sense now!!!

i thought it was strange. i guess now i know the singer is the dreamer it makes a lot of sense!

悲しいのでしょうと夢の中見知らぬ人の問いかけに

so the stranger's-(見知らぬ人の) words-(問いかけ) were from inside her dream-(夢の中)

so 悲しいのでしょうと is what the stranger said? so rather like saying 'oh what a sad dream' inside the dream? lol sorry if i have confused you.

so in this case the と is used as quotation mark? i wasn't aware that it could be used like that! i wondered why it was there in this case.

and all of a sudden the abstract idea of a glass hill makes sense as things are very strange 夢の中ね。 lol

toritoribe-san どうもありがとうございます

悲しいのでしょう
You feel sad, don't you?

The stranger asked to her "You feel sad, don't you?" in her dream.
