Fans of Karaoke

I was sat here listening to music and really wanted to go karaoke. i cant sing good but i try haha and i love going but it isnt the same in england as it is in japan. So i thought i'd make a thread thats really simple.
If you was at karaoke now what song would you want to sing?

i'd like to sing RHCP's - make you feel better.

Especially if it is a Japanese song. Ohhh man, I can't wait to go to the Karaoke bars in Oki again!

Hmm i know what you mean Faustiandeals. But i think karaoke there and karaoke in Japan is completely different. I think they know the difference between X factor and a little fun lol so no one cares how good you sing just that you have a go and have fun.

Singing Japanese songs is very very difficult for me especially when the subs use kanji so unless i know it off heart its not happening haha.

i'd like to sing Mr Childrens - Surrender right now. sigh

I'm better at writing songs than singing them, but I'm a fool for karaoke. I'm only good with country and rock songs. Heck, get a few beers in me and I'll sing anything!

Haha yeah i like a beer at the karaoke...but then i like a beer anywhere so it might not be related ;op
The only disapointment of karaoke in Japan is that they dont have any of the happy hardcore songs from england.

It's a dated song, but I love singing it

For some reason Japanese people love me singing old english songs like the beatles.

The old classics are somehow easier to sing frostyfella (and, as you say, raise more cheers)!!

My Gfs mum loves the beatles and always wants me to sing yesterday and John Lennons - imagine. If i go Karaoke with Japanese people i usually end up singing their songs rather then choosing my own haha

In English, I'd like to sing The Beatles - Can't Buy Me Love. In Japanese, I'd like to sing Deadman - Gin no Parasoru.

I like Karaoke. I aways sing mandrin pop songs though... hahas. For English songs, I like The Reason by hoobastank (though its kinda old now). Karaoke is a great way to kill time!
