exchange trip in japan from uk

Hello, my name is shane
I live in the uk (scotland) and was wondering if anyone knew of any exchange trip options for the uk. If searched already and i couldnt find any. Im sorry if this is a pointless thread its just id really like to experience a few months in a japanese highschool (im 17). Any help or directions to a source would be greatly appreciated

The first organisation I was thinking of is YFU (Youth for Understanding - YFU). They are situated in lots of countries and you can participate with a highschool program in Japan (6 months or 12 months if im not mistaken).

The deadline for this programme has past so we are not accepting any applications at the moment.

2 months late for applying the good scholarship for European students, but you can find other scholarships.
