English Grammar Book

Hi there!

I'm looking for a good grammar book for my girlfriend who wants to level up her English. Maybe something similar to the Japan Times' Dictionaries of Beginning and Intermediate Grammar. She has lived in America and Japan for a total of about 2 years, so her grammar is not bad, but it could use a level up. Can anyone help me?

窶ｰﾂ?窶｢ﾂｶﾅｽﾃ絶?堙姑弾ﾆ鱈ﾆ湛ﾆ暖, especially on the English grammar was very popular and had a great reputation back in early 90's. I used to use one during the Juken days. If she lives in Japan, I would suggest she should buy it. If her study is beyond the Juken, I think it's better (always better) to get one written by a native speaker.
