'Sup everybody, I'm EvilCowSlayer.
Currently, I'm 17, and living in the USA, but I hope to be able to go to Japan someday (Heh, wouldn't everybody here?). If I am ever able to, I hope to be able to land a job in what will be my college field of study (IT, more specifically network administration).
As of the time of this writing (Sept 03, 2007), I've been studying Japanese for about 5 months. I'm just finishing up my Beginner-Intermediate Ultimate Japanese book, and will be starting on the Advanced soon. I'm also starting out on Remembering the Kanji.
I hope to be able to converse in Japanese on this forum soon. As I have not had much chance to converse in Japanese before, please be patient with me.
Thanks, and hope to see you all soon!

Welcome ECS! The Baseball Hall of Fame is in Cooperstown if i remember correctly, must be cool living there! I wish you luck in your language studies and your career ventures!

You're right there, Geostigma. You might find it incredibly ironic that despite living here, I have never once been to the Hall of Fame. I'm not much of a person for baseball.

Welcome 2 JREF, ECS!

What's hanging ECS?

I just wanted to welcome you to JREF with open arms, and I hope that you find some cool people to meet and help you with your studies of Japanese.

To tell you the truth, I haven't even started and wouldn't know where to begin. I have been so terribly busy with, moving, adapting to my new home for the next year and a half, school, and life in general. I don't think that I would find the time to learn Japanese. So you do know that I envy you right?

Well stay focused and maybe it will be you who would lend me a hand in learning Japanese in this forum. Oh and good luck with your IT major! God knows that I'm having hell with mine.

Take care,

Xochi
