Excuse my sad attempt at humor. It may be bacause Admin was on vacation , your post got missed. Not sure if you used PayPal, but I think they charge a couple bucks to process. It maybe JREF had to pay out rather than receive? Anyway, hopefully Admin will get back to you with an answer.

Yeah, it's entirely possible that the amount was so meager that it would have cost more than the amount to receive it(?). I'm not entirely sure how PayPal handles exchanging money from US dollars to Japanese yen.
