Okay, so I'm new here, and this might not be all that descriptive hahaha...
But, I had this candy at my japanese friend's house 8 years ago that was individually wrapped, and it was a marshmallow that instantly melted in your mouth when you popped it in. Once it was melted, there was a hard candy in the middle. It's particular flavor was strawberry, but maybe it came in different flavors. I have since lost contact with my friend at the time because she moved back to Japan so I can't ask her what it was, but it was possibly the coolest candy I've ever eaten hahaha
I've been to some asian grocery stores around where I live and have found nothing
