Do Japanese girls marry Iranians on student visa?

I mean a permanent marriage. Student has expenses and probably part-time job or no job. There's the tension of losing student visa upon graduation, so things might get hurried.

Would Japanese girls understand the situation, have no suspect about the husband getting the citizenship and then leave them....

I was in Cyprus for 8 years studying, mainly for marriage not degree. But I had total number of 0 dating. Too many Iranians there so I suppose Cypriots were thinking that there's plenty of match for me from my countrywomen :-( Not recognizing the fact that I'm actually there to meet foreigners and marry them.

China was also a terrible experience. Girls flood towards foreigners to practice English and satisfy their Chinese curiosity (They call it Chinese culture there) but they never have any feelings. China is the fastest greatest friend-zone with very high male-to-female ratio due to one-child policy.

I wonder if I will be walking around in Japan like a lonely cockroach and drink o-sake.Technically, if I invest my time and money there and return empty-handed, I will have no more money to test another country.

I guess it depends on the individual guy and individual girl. Not sure there's any typical group behaviour for this.

Thank you very much for writing from Kyushu. I'm considering studying in Japan. I searched on internet and found out that Japanese government restricted immigration policy for Philippines since 2005. And many illegal Iranian immigrants were deported in 1992. So there were above 50,000 Iranians in Japan until 1992, and in 2005 there were 5000 only.

18% of 1,687 Iranians obtained permanent residency by marrying a Japanese. That means a little above 300. Although it's from 2005 statistics.

I'm also aware girls have less trouble marrying Asian looking husbands (Korean, Chinese, Filipino) so my luck's not shooting the moon.

My experience in Cyprus and China was long and bitter. I know it's safer to choose a destination like Switzerland with 50% bi-national marriages; However I like Asian eyes and the terrific writing system. Budget-wise it's a huge risk.

It's not the strongest reason to marry I've ever heard.

I wonder if you aren't over-thinking this marriage thing. Perhaps it's better to just go with the flow and see who you meet along the way wherever you are (regardless of her eyes or writing system).

Uhmm, well I put a map in front of me deciding a country to go (Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Brazil, Switzerland etc). I can't take the Marco Polo approach meeting women from every corner of the planet. So before getting causal with a lady, I should refine a lot of decisions while she's not involved in person.



For example: History of international marriages with guys from my country.
In Shanghai-China an American lady is living with her Chinese husband; she was insulted in English, beaten by a random passer by, got her arm bruised and police told her "you're lucky you didn't get hurt more, we can't do anything about it". A French guy's Chinese wife was stabbed to death in Beijing with a one-meter sword in public on August 2015.

From the last link, I just learned that the bride was from Shandong. Gives me a flashback to my Nanjing lab-mate who was a girl from Shandong (Probably we could be dating if my university wouldn't sent me to Suzhou)

I understand these tragedies don't happen on a daily basis; but a glance on my background shows that if there's a rock falling from sky, most likely it will hit my forehead. I think they were far more successful than me since they could make it up to a wedding; I feel very sorry for the Chinese newlywed. I may end up in prison in Japan for touching someone in train and be confirmed innocent 5 years later with a movie about it:

So, before I see a girl I should apply to a university. That's exactly the time I should decide which country.
Since I'm a lonely guy and I have free time during non-sleep hours, a language with 5000 different shapes is a cheap Play Station for entertaining me.

I also think best girls to date with are the local ones since I don't have to worry about them disappearing after graduation or asking me to fill their online application for Harvard. That means reasons of going to Japan initially are eyes and kanji + surprises

It's entirely possible if you're not too bad looking and pick an older woman who's not having much luck with local men (ie desperate to marry anyone that will give her children).

I just hope that you weren't thinking about landing a gravure model in your situation.

Do you suggest going to Philippines instead of Japan?
Because in Japan I will be less than Americans and westerns, I would be the Gaijin with viruses and diseases (Like Indians, Bangladesh and Pakistanis).
I really don't have more money to learn a new lesson. I want happiness.
Sorry my parents had coitus in Middle East and crafted me with their unpleasant genes. I would be less abused if I was born from a cow.
