Do Japanese girls like to interact with Gaijins?

The title says "I was wondering if Japanese women like to interact with foreigners and want to test out their English, or are they really shy regarding foreigners?"
Nope, sorry. Your thread title ends a lot sooner. You might want to read it. Nowhere does it even suggest testing English as a motive for your coming here. You might want to stop digging that hole.

Nahh I'll keep digging

At least he's honest about it.
I'm sorry, but that does not excuse his behavior. He's 18 now, and by the time he has the money to come, his hormones will be in more of a lather. Kissing may not be the only thing on his mind (as if it is now).
Excuse what behavior? He hasn't done anything. Even if we assume he's going to attempt to hook up with Japanese girls and do more than kissing while he's there then... so what? As long as he's not a jerk about it.

THANK YOU! Mdchachi respect I have done nothing wrong, I feel I am being picked on by this fellow haha

...as long as he's not being a jerk about it.

Well, we all have our suspicions about that. Am I not permitted?
Whatever.

Is there anything else you'd like us to advise you on?

Between all the comments about his behavior, he also asked for recommendations on food and sights.

Pretty much only in the Roppongi area, though, and pretty few and far between his focus on boozing and latching onto girls. For someone who professes to love Japanese culture and history, I find that bewilderingly strange. The title of his thread alone speaks volumes. Only recently did he start a new thread to deal with these other matters (why?).

Don't judge a book by its cover mate.

Say you were not wanting a bar scene Nippon girl but instead one who is into gaming/anime/manga and not much for socializing, are there ways to make availability known to them in an unobtrusive way? I imagine they would be prone to online dating but Japanese literacy would be needed to do that.

Also I am paranoid that jealous Japanese men might hate gaijins trying to date their women and want to target them if they tried dating online.

I was thinking maybe just game online on Japanese servers and developed friendships and maybe one will turn out to be a girl by coincidence. This happened in a manga and seemed romantic.

After eight years of silence you pop up wanting to know how to surreptitiously pick up socially awkward Japanese girls online and necroposting in a thread regarding age of consent (which you had to be looking for)....

Sure you didn't want to know the best place to get handcuffs and chloroform online while you're at it?

Better start learning to read and write Japanese then so you can participate in the ingame chat. Be prepared for lots of text scrolling by and constant tabbing out to a dictionary to understand what the hell people are saying (or even looking up kanji by radicals, since text from ingame chat can typically not be copy-pasted). Be prepared to struggle with the ingame IME. Be aware that, apart from standard Japanese, there will be internet slang and game specific jargon. And of course know that, on the off-chance that you actually do find a female player, you will no doubt face competition from other (native) players for her attention.

Or you could try to find a Canadian gamer girl. Of course, even then the usual online gaming caveats apply: female players might say they're male in order to avoid unwanted attention, and male players might say they're female in order to get free stuff.

Keep in mind that manga, anime, visual novels... are typically exagerrated, idealized, unrealistic fantasies. See also Japanese Girls Are The Best

Nobody cares if you meet Japanese women on dating sites. They wouldn't even know.

Certainly better than stalking some poor girl just trying to enjoy her video game in peace.

Don't be paranoid, I don't think they'll care or even let alone pay attention in the first place, as long as you're happy that's all that matters right! :)

I'd be more worried about that drunken foreigner in the gaijin bar who thinks you're muscling in on "his" territory.

I think he means showered. A douche is also something that can be used for washing, but is typically not suitable for men.

Really? That's really uncommon here in Canada, I've showered every morning for the past years :o
