You can't join [a knot] unless you have a japanese address or alot of japanese sites that let you buy stuff from yahoo japan auctions allow you join fan clubs of your favorite japanese artists, they use a japanese address and then send the stuff to you and you just pay for shipping of it and the cost of the items.

Anways, My aunt used to live over in Japan and I used her address, but if you go to Yahoo Japan Auctions they have tons of tickets for the [a knot] only shows on july 22,23,25, and 27.

T_T oh no! Kyo needs to recover so he can use his hot and sexy voice to entrance me at the FVT concert here.

Last I knew kyo had acute tonsilitus and he's gotten it alot since his ear problem back in 2001. I hope he gets better.

That article says that he's going to perform on july 31 and august 1st and is suppose to do a 33 show tour with korn in North America. It also says that he's been hospitalized since july 21. I hope he gets better poor kyo

I recently sent to an envelope containing two greeting cards from Boston. It was under $2 for it to get there in about a week. Hmmm... anyone know the address to send Kyo fanmail?

If you would like to send Dir en grey fanmail, gifts, etc, then this is the address to do so:
"a knot"
106-0032
Tokyo-to
Minato-ku
Roppongi 4-8-6
Pacific Capital Plaza Building 6F
JAPAN

Make sure you put the name of the member you wish to send it to, for example: "a knot", Dir en grey, Kaoru.

thanks go to Tattered Cloth webmaster for that info.... <.<; they ([a knot]) will get the items to the member. and, thank you, nekkyo.

I heard about Kyo... I hope he gets better soon. Throat problems are a right bugger. Poor Kyo.

...he's been in the hospital 4 days.... the article said that he's been having problems like this for a while now, so... maybe he should just have his tonsils removed.... and, he wouldn't have to stay in the hospital for more than a couple days after that, and then they could carry on as normal.... they would all be able to go back to living their lives, and not have to worry about Kyo's condition... past the first couple days, when they would have to really watch to make sure he didn't end up with some kind of infection, but aside from that.... <.<; okay... imma shut up now....

I thought that he would've done that...or maybe he's just looking for excuses to have some vacation time?

I joke.

I think it'd be best if he did get them removed, he wouldn't want to get actually really sick..What if he was in the middle of a tour and he got that? Poor Kyo..

when you remove your tonsils your voice changes a bit. Maybe thats why he hasn't gotten it done.

yeah, but the change isn't normally so drastic that he wouldn't be able to do any of the stuff they have done so far... and his voice has already changed a great deal from when they started. granted, that is due to all the smoking and screaming done over the years, but i'm sure everyone will understand a slight change in his voice if it means his problems will go down that much more. i mean, even if it means a change in his voice, i'd rather him have the source of the problem (in this case, his tonsils) removed, rather than have him suffer like this every so often, you know? real fans won't care if there is a slight change in his voice, as long as he is healthy and able to keep being Kyo. i don't know... maybe i'm weird for thinking it would be better, but it seems like it would be the smart thing to do. true fans won't care.

Hello......I was wondering if anyone would be willing to translate/knows someone who would be willing to translate this ryoujoku no ame interview m(_ _)m although I don't really have anything to give in return for it.....
世界を股にかけるDir en greyが"今"を語る、ロング・インタヴュー | BARKS
the other thing is...it is quite long <__<;; it's a really huge ask and I don't expect anyone to translate it really but I thought I'd post it anyway for anyone who happens to be able read Japanese ^__^;;

I hope Kyo get's better soon. =]
He probably will, he's not a quitter.
I love their new style, in the new video.
The bassline, great as always!

@ ijiwaru: I am sorry, I would like to help but I can't read Japanese. :sorry:

Good news - Kyo sang at the concert in I think it was Nagoya (?) (something beginning with 'na'!) last night and reports from Japanese fans say that his voice was good.

Official release date of the single today! I haven't even watched the PV yet because I wanted to keep it... surprise. but I'm looking forward to listening to it!

My copy of Ryoujoku no Ame was sent out today and then I bought one on Yahoo Japan Auctions that comes with the limited edition poster. So i'll have two copies of the cd heh

w00t~~~~~~~~~! *dances and sings slightly off key* Kyo is better, Kyo is better~! yes, the show was at Nagoya, and i think it's mentioned in the following piece taken from Dir en grey's American website.

<><>July 25, 2006 {1}- Blabbermouth has reported that Dir en grey does not plan to cancel anymore dates. It would seem as though Kyo has recovered; as the Nagoya show went on as planned, and Kyo reportedly performed as normal at the show, and seemed to be feeling quite healthy. No changes to his voice or difficulty singing were reported. Congratulations, Kyo.

poor sea monster spit.... what's wrong with the keyboard? are the letters in the wrong places or something? i mean, for the most part, the German language uses Romanized lettering, and only a couple of symbols... so.... o.o; my only guess is that the letters would be in the wrong places..... <.<; man, it would have been cool to have gotten those items, though they did have good reasons for not giving them away or selling them, ne?

And yay my copy of Ryoujoku no Ame was shipped out yesterday! hehe I had my D'espa and Miyavi single bunched in there so I had to wait until Diru's single was released before I could get those too. I'm so excited!
I think next i'm going to order Kisou along with Gazette's Disorder and Miyavi's dokusou album (not the MYV POPS). <== The reason why I took on a summer job.

I only bought the Diru single because I was using my parents credit card and it was part of my birthday present.

@ dirous_ninjou: yeah, some of the letters are in different places... and it's not just letters, but the symbols... like, it took me ages to locate @ and < and > and ^...

I have listened to 2 tracks off Ryoujoku no Ame! the title track and Higeki wa mabuta wo oroshita yasashiki utsu. They are pretty good although Higeki... is a bit slow and draggy for my taste :sorry: Ryoujoku no Ame is quite good though.

I just wish they had included more than one studio-recorded track... I like to hear songs live but they had 3 live tracks on CS, and it's good to be able to hear it studio-recorded first, and then live.

Personally I think they have written more interesting songs than Ryoujoku no Ame, but it's not bad. Without wishing to sound like I'm harking back to 'old days' (I loved WTD!), I think songs like Jealous, Fukai, Red... [em] and Gyakujou Tannou Keloid Milk are better than Ryoujoku no Ame; they keep me interested more... anyway, I can't wait to hear the other 2 tracks as well, though! ^^

I love the new songs!!! ^____________^ They've been playing on loop for a day now... -_-;

Oh, and as a suggestion to those out in another country (not US)... If the computer is running windows, there's a way to change the configuration of the keys in the settings. Let me know if you'd like for me to pm you instructions or go search for them on google. The only thing about this is that the physical letters will stay where the keyboard has them. It's a software change. ^_^

dirus_ninjou: LMAO! I don't think I had noticed your avatar yet... HAHAHA!

^^; Yey Diru thread. This is the thread I came across that made me join the board lol. I'm just really sad that I won't get to see the concert cause I'm movin to Brazil before it comes to my state T_T....
