Were Screwed

The dates for the Family Values Tour are going to be released on May 10th, but I can already tell you that anybody hoping to catch Dir en grey in the Northeastern states is screwed. Not sure how screwed but screwed. Considering that after the kickoff in VA beach they are going up North. The next date I know is in Homdel, NJ on August 1st at the PNC Bank Arts Center http://www.pncbankartscenter.com/detail.html?eventID=219499. Same day as the Inward Scream show. Dir en grey isn't going to be on the first 5-6 dates because of the Japan shows. So if that show isn't good that must mean the other shows aren't good either.

Edit looking at that seating chart looks like I will be paying the full $50. Its an amphitheater, and so most likely all the other shows are amphs as well, which means lawn seats suck.
 
****, that means the stalk is off> DAMN IT GO SOUTH! DX!!!!! *can go to one in Texas, but that would just not be the same.. BTW Dir has a new layout, and it kicks major butteh.

well......its during my summer.....im still willing to travel across the county to see deg multiple times....and willing to spend 50+ a ticket to see them.....

those who want to do that stalk deg tour......u guys willing to do these locations if the northeast gets canceled and im driving?

I thought tickets for family values tour is only $10 :?
 
I'd rather pay a whooping 500 than to not have a chance of being front and centre for the action.
 
money isnt an issue with me when it comes to jrock.....ill figure out a way reguardless....i will see deg multiple times on the family value tour reguardless of the time+cost.....more people is just cheaper
 
I will probally go to one, just to see them in U.S again and I also want to see how the crowd the non diru fans react to them.
 
It's easy to be a "big balla" when you're living off your parents...

I don't know about the OHP being gorgeous...more like annoying lol. It takes forever to load, and I have high speed connection!
 
I like the new OHP. I guess since I live on a campus, I don't have any worries about internet speed b/c it loads instantly for me. I like it a lot ^^
 
So um yeah I can't wait for the show!

I hope I get to meet Die I bet he wouldnt be to hard to spot in West Palm.

Are there any recent pics of them in a magazine or something someone can post up?

Um, I don't think they're in any magazines. On their official site, though, it says something that I think is a magazine. I'm too lazy to go check right now.

Yeah, I'm excited about possibly seeing them this summer. So, do they only have two shows planned in Japan that would conflict with Family Values? I havn't checked their site thouroughly because it doesn't work too well for me.

i know kyo likes to keep with himself and read that he doesnt go out much....but on tours and stuff....does he wander off with the rest of the band often?? id like to spot kyo.....i could just imagine him going psycho on something which is pretty funny....id like to spot kaoru too...and tell him to get that pink hair again T_T

Aaand, I think Kyo was spotted in L.A. shopping around. It was in someone's live report. And, I don't think you would see him "going pyscho" unless he was on stage I think Kyo is relativley a calm person. Unless he's on stage... haha XD
And yeah, Kaoru's pink hair was nice, but if he got it again, it wouldn't really match the rest of the band I guess. Also, if he kept his chin pubes with the pink hair, that would look hilarious

Kyo is not how he may seem he is a very sweet man. They all are very nice guys. But im pretty sure if you cross the little guy he will kill you. He does go out with the band.
If I saw Kaoru I would tell him to keep his little beard thingy and I would tell Toshiya he looks better with shorter hair. Although I think he did cut it because at the LA show it looked short. I would also ask all of them to stop smoking and drinking excessvily( sp?)! Although Shinya doesnt have a problem in that area. For Die I would just like to strike up a convo.

EDIT: oh I have a question there is this channel called IMF which plays music videos all over the world. Has DEG ever been on it? I tried to stay up to see Japan but I couldnt and I fell asleep when I woke up the Japan thing was over.
 
Well the mailman just handed me my copy of the "It Withers and Withers" DVD.

The packaging is really classy.

And there's 250 minutes of Diru in this thing, folks.

im on the ohp and i like the new layout a lot....the background makes it slightly hard to see things but the pics of the band and the live pics if u hoover ur mouse over each member r freaken awsome!!!! toshiya looks freaken awsome!

thanks placebo and dont forget the cookie or lollypop they give u at the end!!!! do u guys think if walmart or hot topic starts putting up deg cd's will it be cheaper then ordering them from other online sites? like yesasia and stuff like that? i mean no s&h and maybe they get a discount for buying in bulk? or do u guys think that it wont happen?
 
I also got my DVD today. It shipped must faster than I thought it would. I am going to watch it tonight and try to give a spoiler free review of it. But yea so much Diru goodness.
And yes I agree that the JPop forum is going to hell in a handbask. This is about the only thread I post to nowadays.
To get back on topic. If you had to pick one song and only one song that defines Dir en grey. The song that is their most strongest song. And also shows the Dir en grey of the past and the future. The one song that makes you say this is Dir en grey and this is what they are all about and explain why.
I know what song does it for me but I want to hear(read) everyones opinion first.
 
Oh god, that has to be THE hardest question EVER! I don't think I can pick just ONE! Zan is so old, and yet, it could fit in with any of their newer songs. I wouldn't use that to classify them though, but Zan is just teh le whoa. It's different from the rest of the album it's on. I use Zan to say they started changing so long ago, and it wasn't this spaztic change like everyone points it out to be. I CAN ,however, classify them by an album. Ladies and gentlemen, VULGAR! I love every song on there to DEATH. Such a wide selection of different styles on that cd, I think that cd is the step. The step that made their newest songs. Zan, was the beginning of that step long, long, ago. The FInal is also one of those songs that just stand out to me. If I had to let everyone in the world hear ONE song by Dir en grey, i'd play The Final.

Okay so I just finished watching Disc 1 from the new DVD and I must say IT ******* ROCKS. Vocally I don't think its the best. That goes to COV but the editing on this is awesome reall really nice. I will give a more in depth song by song review later.

Also a bit random. But I noticed that alot of the clothes they wore in NY they wore on this DVD. Like Dies Rolling Stone shirt. And the Jacket Kyo wore in the encore.

Okay I just finished Disc 2 and Disc 2 is just awesome. I actually think that its better than disc 1.
