Ahhh, it's so hard to type right now because I can only really use one hand because I like killed my wrist, so I won't write a lot... but anywaysssss I personaly thought the article was really good.
It came from a relatively respectable website, and it said a lot of positive things about Dir en grey's music, and not just their image. It also talked a little about how fans could overcome the language barrier.
Even though Diru may get more fans now, in the end it will help their older fans because it means easier access to merchandise and tours. Plus, a bigger fanbase would mean more money for the band, and money is always nice
Even though a lot of the new fans may be a bit... annoying, they could turn in to really loving the music, and not just the image or because the band could be a fad. If Dir en grey does become a fad, it will eventually will pass over.
The one thing I didn't really like about the article though was the large amount of labeling. Not all Dir en grey fans are Japan obsessed anime loving Hot Topic fanatics.... But, other than that, I really liked the article, because it gave me hope to being able to see Dir en grey preform live again
And now, I will stop typing because my wrist might die
