Its because were all having a freak out. A DIR EN GREY freak out that is! ha ha ha the best kind. Noooo, it isnt fair! Can anyone find ANY official info on this? Maybe the jap site has info????

Haha, it's okay, I'll just sleep in my car ... in NY ... and get mugged ... and die. Wait, bad scenario, haha. My mind is all over the place right now, I should so be asleep, but now I'm WIDE awake. The things JRock does to me, the things I WANT Jrockers to do to me, haha, Gosh, told you my mind is wandering all over the place.
 
This is why I am going to japan for any concert of any kind. << >> << Yhey for discount plane tickets. I am afraid of Americans. They scare me, some of the fans are just ridiculous. They will hurt people. I'd rather not risk it, when I can just go wtfever I want really. Hopefully, if my friend aunt will start paying for her phone. ¬.¬! *shuts up*
 
hehe I am going to the one in Germany anyways, and my friend is pulling strings so that we can hang out with them in japan. *will sneak her camera and constantly take pictures of Kyo, she just knows it* +_+ Camera's love Kyo, and so do I, so it's perfect like that. XD
 
I know. <3 I love my friend, not because of all of this, but because she is so so so sweet. I could pull some strings for you too if you like. We will be living in Japan soon anyways, so you could just bunk with us and get to go backstage and everything. I will ask her about it if you like. And then we will have to run it by with her aunt. ;/'' *just knows someone is going to be like: NO WAY IN HELL YOU COULD HAVE CONNECTIONS. sometime soon XD*

Yes, its really very heartening to see diru finally taking such interest in their over seas fans. It gives me alot of hop as well.
 
I don't think anyone "fangirled" too much. Everyone's excited that Diru's going to be coming here, that's it. The people on this forum, at least that have commented so far, understand the importance of not getting out of control at the show and the potential of the craziness that may be exhibited by other fans, but whatever. I'll be the first one to admit that I'd love to be "close" to the band. That doesn't mean I'm not there for the music, but it'd be a damn lie to say I don't find the men of Diru to be extremely talented musicians as well as absolutely gorgeous men, and I can't help but want to see and be as close to that as possible. Just like with D'espa, how excited I was to be in the front (even though I was being butt-molested by the people behind me), the concert experience is more (for me at least) when you're close to the band. If I get a little Kyo Sweat/Blood/Vomit/other on me, it'd be alright. Not to mention, Diru's one of my favorite groups (as with most people on this forum probably) and the opportunity to see them live will be amazing. Of course I won't hope for the 21+ show because being 20, I'm anti 21+ things. The whole concept of being old enough for marriage (w/o permission), college, to vote, to freaking die serving for this country, but NOT being old enough to see a Dir en grey concert bothers me, but then again, I'll probably change that view once I turn 21. I would, however, hope for an 18+ show because of the fan-maturity thing, but I don't think 16+ is that bad.

Hear hear. Yeah, they don't like that bull **** either. Americans will probably scare them away for good. Especailly if they act like my friend, she is already starting to scare me. I am almost pushed to say: oops they will be sick the week I am going to take you there. I keep telling her. If you treat them like that, they won't give you the time of day, but she doesn't listen to me.
 
I'd really, really, really love to see Dir live, simply because from what I have seen on DVDs of their live performances they are an awesome and charismatic band who give a particularly good live show.

If I was to see them live (which I hope I will one day! ^^) I'd also like to try and get near the front, or at least in a part with a good view, close to the band is good (although hopefully not in some place where I get trampled ;_;.

But they don't strike me as being a particularly molestable band. I mean, D'espa... if you will say things like "please be more and more indecent" what can you expect? But Dir... it's just live for the music and emotional experience, would be so great.
 
Haha, yeah, I don't see Diru as "molestable", but being close, the emotional experience would be amazing.
 
Yea... I heard... what is so great about New York... come to New Orleans all you jrockers and hold a gigantic charity festival or something... :angryfire I guess I'm gonna have to look a little harder for a job then if they are coming here...
As for Kyo throwing up on fangirls... they'd probly bottle it and treasure it for ever. I'll be on Kaoru's side staring inshock that he's really real and probly fainting from VVS... faaaar from vomit

I don't think I fangirled to much either, I was just joking when I was talking about my friend, and the joke was that he would protect me from the fangirls. Wanting to be as close as possible doesn't make you a fangirl, I am like that even with American concerts. In fact I probaly get it from my dad who loves going to concerts, plays, and comdey shows but unless he has tickets that are on the floor and within the first 10 rows he won't go. Like for example My dad and his wife went to a concert, he paid $500 dollars to get 3rd row floor seats when he could have paid only $170 for seats on the first level, that was RIGHT OVER THE STAGE.

And I am the same way, If I buy tickets to a concert and they aren't as good as I would want them to be I look around the Internet to go and find better seats as close to the stage as possible. The fact that this Diru live is standing room only and you don't have a set seat, I know it will be all hell up in the Avalon trying to get to the front.
 
I believe the Avalon has three floors. I am sure they would have the balconies opened if Diru really does play there. At least that makes it better. I'd probably try to get in front row on the balcony if anything. I wouldn't want my clothes to get ruined being front row on the ground level! I can only imagine what the show would be like. As much experience having to deal with pushy fan girls next to you at shows, I don't know if that is enough for diru haha. I still would like it to be 18+ or 21+ hoping it would make the show more enjoyable from the crowd at least. I just think it's odd with this show being so close that it wasn't announced anywhere yet. That is why I think it could be a mistake. Maybe it's some special event for the release of their album in the US, like they will have diru's videos playing, like a release party of some sort. As much as I want it to be true, I just think it would have been smarter to promote it really early on.
 
I guess if not being a fan girl makes you better than other people, then I must be better than them too haha! Normphobic is freakin awesome, so in my oppinion she is better than most hahaha!

I don't think that post had anything to do with being better than anyone though. I think a show where girls are trying to molest the band, rip their clothes, push people around them, and actually hurt people to try to get close to the band just to touch their shoe can make a show less enjoyable, but I would still go to a show because you are there for the band, not the fans.

Backstreet boys music and Diru are totally different. Diru probably have a lot of hardcore fans that are going to mosh and other things, I don't think there would be moshing at a BSB concert.
 
Yay so it is true. Thanks for the link Nana. I am surprised they waited so long to announce it! At least it is 16+ Well, I guess Monday morning I will have to order the tickets!
 
16+? why? well atleast that it excludes some of the fangirls i guess..
 
Also the fact that the concerts are in the middle of the week, Alot of people will be in school, and while it is very easy for college students on their own to cut class It's going to be harder for a lot of people in HS to go for that fact alone, I mean how many parents are going to let their kids go way to NY or Cali in the middle of the week for a concert, and miss school also. So that might also help (just a bit) although not much because I am pretty sure you have fangirls 18+

Moshing and all forms of other violince is prohibited at any diru concert and you will be thrown out. So you don't have too worry too much about it.
 
Yeah you're right, there are probably 30 year olds who are still fan girly haha. That is true about it being on a weekday. I am sure a lot of parents won't let their kids travel on a weekday to NY or LA (unless their parents go with them!) I am just glad to finally see Diru live. I have a few of their DVD's, so seeing hours of them live on TV really gets you excited for when you actually get to see it for real.

A lot of concerts say moshing is prohibited. In Japan it is a lot easier to control the crowd, they react so differently at concerts than they do here in America. I am sure there will be a lot of security at the show. I am not worried about moshing. I was in a lot of hardcore bands and have been to a lot of shows. I can protect myself and others around me, but it distracts you from watching the show and I hate that!
